28 Embarrassing Things I Love

Some things I love.  But I don't talk about them.  I can't say they're secret, oh-my-gosh-if-people-find-out-I'll-die-or-be-blackballed-by-my-volunteer-organizations things.  

But some of them just aren't polite conversation starters.  

You know?

Here goes:

Raw brownie mix,

The movie Titanic,

My dog's wet nose,

Burping,

Passing gas (you may remember I can't even say the "f" word - so disgusting),

Reality TV,

Cutting someone jerky off on the highway,

Getting through a yellow light "just" before it turns red,

Listening to gossip,

Drinking Red Bulls with Vodka (that first one is like nectar of the gods),

Putting my kids to bed at night,

Falling asleep,

Taking a nap while the kids are at school,

Ke$ha,

Shaking it like a polaroid picture,

Usher's Yeah, Yeah,

Picking my nose (I know, by this point you are like, "You are SO gross!  I AM going to blackball you after all.),

Picking wedgies,

Flossing my teeth,

Popping zits (come on, admit you like this one too),

Finding hidden pictures in Highlights magazine,

Playing pizza palace on Webkinz,

Being alone,

Arranging my kids into more comfortable positions as they sleep,

Being right with an asshole,

Being wrong and learning something new from someone I admire and respect,

Scratching a mosquito bite until it's raw (gross right?).

Question is, if I've shared mine, what secret loves are you going to tell me?

I love throwing things away. If we haven't used it in 6 months, it goes in the trash or to Goodwill! I get in trouble with my husband all the time because I have gotten rid of something. He's a pack rat.

Admitting when you are wrong and learning from it? That's an admirable quality!

I love so many of these things, but I'm not sure if I should say which ones :) But Usher's Yeah is definitely one of them. One of my biggest guilty pleasures is teen dramas. I prefer them to reality TV. I love listening to my music really loud in the car, preferably with the windows down. And so many other things.

Popping zits - oh yeah!
Biggest secret pleasure: swearing. I know, I know, not ladylike etc etc. But man, a good swear can make me feel sooooo much better when things are shitty.

Love popping zits! And if they are on someone else, Jackpot! And I don't know if it gets much more disgusting than this... But after a bikini wax there are usually a few ingrown hairs... Love "popping" those and getting them out. You don't have to be friends with me after reading that...

Hahaha! Now THIS is funny!!! I was completely with you until number 4. Burping, really? When anyone burps around me I have to hold their mouth shut until they swallow their burp so I don't have to smell it! ;o) Hateful, hateful thing, burping is.

I am obsessed with that Webkinz puzzle piece game where you have to get the animals home before dark. Seriously, try it. You won't be able to stop.

Hahaha! I love your courage to post these. :) Well, you know I share your love of Red Bull. Like you, I also like to pick and pop things on my skin. (My dermatologist hates me.) I love throwing things away. Cleaning out drawers and closets is a daunting task, but when it's done and I take that huge pile of "purged" goods to the Goodwill, it's the best feeling. I swear my whole like feels lighter.

Oh, and I also like to peel my toenails. In bed. EWWWWW, right?
